Yanina Spring 2014 Couture

The Yanina Spring 2014 Couture Collection is filled with creative dresses and gowns that are are ultra feminine and enchanting like a fairy tale. The theme seems organic, drawing inspiration from nature. A botanical element runs throughout the ensemble. Design elements like scalloped edging and balloon ruffles are combined with artistically crafted gardens of flowers, vines and leaves. Flowers and leaves are sometimes large, other times small and always visually interesting. These botanical design elements are uniquely embroidered, beaded, or developed from fabric. Sheer fabrics and watercolor styled prints are used to pull the designs together. In one instance a gown seems spun like a wispy, silken cocoon. On others, a woman becomes a garden. Unique, floral styled head pieces coordinate with matching fabrics.
