Stephane Rolland Spring Summer 2013-14 Haute Couture
Extravagant, Red Carpet worthy, formal fashions from Stephane Rolland’s Spring Summer Haute Couture Collection during Paris Fashion Week, 2013-14. The collection is a combination of what is often instantly recognizable about Stephane Rolland designs. The simple, angular shapes and alternately, strong emphasis on curves.
Curvaceous silhouettes are framed in styles that are adorned in floral styled appliques, richly textured beading, and large, wind swept ruffles and flowing fabrics, that make dramatic appearances in a variety of focal points. Elements of uber sexy peek-a-boo features turn the threads of conservatism upside down. The strength of formal black and white makes this season a classic and sure to be seen on a future Red Carpet event.
Time willing, I’d like to post some previous seasons of Stephane’s that demonstrate some of the recurring elements he uses that make his styles so “him” and so fashionably attractive. Season after season his designs are certain creativity and big drama on the runway!
