Olesya Malinskaya Fall Winter 2013

Olesya Malinskaya featured yet another alluring collection during Russia’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2013. Emphasis is on the silhouette and accentuating the curvaceous woman. This time around the collection features much more shimmer, metallics, luxurious and slinky silks, lush, old world style velvet and brocade and sheer layers with glittering embroidery.

An electric blue leather jacket with a plush fur collar is extremely pretty, though I seriously hope it is faux fur (but have to hazard a guess that it isn’t and THAT is a serious disappointment.) I’d love it if it were eco friendly and cruelty free.

Other than that, I’m very glad to see that she designed for another season; her fashions are creative and sexy. I especially like to see her model in her own shows too, she’s a lovely woman and wears her styles extremely well.
