Monique Lhuillier Resort 2014

We’re accustomed to seeing fabulous red carpet gowns and extraordinarily beautiful wedding dresses from Monique Lhuillier, but seeing the way that she designs a Resort Collection and Ready to Wear styles is a special treat. I am crazy about this collection. I love the way she used patterns in the casual styles, they’re super creative and seem to be figure flexible.

Lace and lace-styled textures are utilized throughout the collection and in a very unique way. There are pencil leg lace pants, lace coats in several lengths, lace tops, a lace cropped bolero, and lace as a design element on a dress or gown. There are even some lace styled shoes & they look great with everything… LOVE! This collection is clever, attractive, unique and fun.

Straight leg pants are form fitting or relaxed. The designer cocktail dresses are flirty and feminine. Separates coalesce with coats, jackets and boleros to form a total look that is extremely classy. The collection features a few elegant and formal gown styles and then other more semi-formal, long evening gowns that focus on a fit figure and are svelte and sexy. The collection will certainly lead the way for new trends in women’s fashion.
