Luisa Beccaria tells a tale of old world glamour with the design of her Fall 2015 Ready to Wear Collection. She named this, The Pursuit of Love: a Tale of Contradictions for Modern Cinderellas. Luisa is directly referencing Nancy Mitford‘s most popular novel, The Pursuit of Love, — “a classic comedy about growing up and falling in love among the privileged and eccentric.” The ensemble exudes a modern romanticism combined with a distinctly vintage aura that emanates throughout all of the fashion elements. Elegant, silhouette focused shapes join with rich fabrics, touchable textures, light and feminine layers and exquisite embroideries. Arm length gloves and berets add to the authenticity of the time period. Luisa invites us to step into a time machine for a trip to an era and element of aristocracy, gentility and privilege.
