Gucci Spring 2014

This is a sassy Ready to Wear collection of primarily evening styles, on a gorgeous runway. The designs feature a lot of see through fabrics, lace, fishnet, prints, and designs that incorporate a lot of shimmery metallic fabrics and embroidery. I really love the palette combinations of black mixed with jewel toned hues in luminescent red, orange, deep bronze, gold, green, magenta and violet. Focus is on the hips and a slim silhouette. Vertical lines and straps are a dominant design element. We see straps on the underlying garments, bras, belts, trim, fringe and shoes.
