Greta Boldini Fall 2014-15 Couture

The brand Greta Boldini is the creative partnering of Alexander Flagella and Michela Musco. They’re both graduates from Polimoda Fashion School, in Florence, Italy. The Greta Boldini Fall 2014-15 Couture Collection resembles more of a resort collection than a winter one. The palette is light with lots of winter white, soft mint green, pale blue and an eye catching metallic copper. Everything is designed with a foundation of comfort, soft styling and fine fabrics. Coats are light weight, trench styles that would slide into spring or changing weather with ease. Evening styles are simple and classic. As always, I admire the slimming pencil shapes and the modest lengths on coats and dresses. These styles are proof that modesty is still alluring.
