Ermanno Scervino Spring Summer 2012 Ready to Wear

This is one of my favorite collections from Ermanno Scervino . It’s cute, it’s sassy, sexy and chic. It’s also enormously creative. There are many different influences playing a role in this collection and are all “sewn’ together ‘seamlessly”. I love the how the pencil skirts are mixed up into completely different looks again and again. They’re paired with light sweaters, multi layered peplum and applique styled lace tops. I’m crazy for the white mesh skirt and see through blouse that shows off equally sexy lingerie… adore the peplum and the way a combination of ruffles appear to almost grow out of the side of the skirt… the ever-so-delicate layers of tiered ruffles adorn skirts like petals on a spring flower… the alternating but coordinating textures, a fringed skirt and patterned see-through top… a conservative suit jacket and see through skirt. It’s all mixed up and yet it all comes together. Creative Genius!
