I love this collection. I’m attracted to the body hugging styling and flowing, feminine designs.  I love the shiny lipstick reds. Antonio Berardi’s signature peacock train hems and weightless layering on gowns and dresses are unmatched. He uses a metallic patent leather that vaguely emulates 18th century corsets and places emphasis on a fit waist. He also designed a sequin made of leather to incorporate in the embroidery that pairs next to this metallic patent leather. Shine attracts and glints of light are everywhere in this collection. Exceptional embroidery and reflective beading embellishes evening wear right down to pencil leg pants paired with long flowing blouses or a double breasted jacket. Lipstick-red makes the whole collection crackle.
