The newly formed Alvarno brand, comprised of the designers Arnaud Maillard and Alvaro Castejon are making a fresh mark on the fashion world. Madrid is graced with their combined talents; fresh, chic, modern and peppered with the influence of the icons they’ve worked with and for – Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander McQueen and Oscar de la Renta. Their Fall 2015-16 collection is filled with sumptuously rich fabrics, flattering lines, creative layers, and sexy accessories. Many looks are leggy, short dresses are worn with thigh high boots, leggings pair with snug fitting skirts. All are layered with fabulous coats and sexy accessories like Lagerfeld influenced fingertip-less gloves and purses decorated in animal prints and flowing fringe. Fashions like these make those of us living in tropical areas, envious of cold weather climates!
