Valentin Yudashkin Spring 2015
The Spring 2015 Collection is inspired by Fairy Tales and French Gardens and most notably, Valentin Yudashkin’s favorite flower, hydrangeas. He hand painted them on to fabrics and applied them as 3d appliques, decorating them with shimmering metallic and golden filigree. The gowns are flowing and feminine, poetic and ethereal. These ornate and inspired designs are offset by fabulously easy and uncomplicated daywear designs and sleek cocktail hour styles that are off the beaten path of what we normally see from Valentin and are very mix-and-match, wardrobe friendly. Light romantic blouses, pretty skirts in varying lengths and delicate suits pieces that compliment most everything. I especially love the whites; the silky pocketed blouse & split mid length skirt with a bow tie, the cropped and billowing sleeved silk top with lace shorts is quite alluring and also the very flexible, white sequined evening jacket.
