The Blumarine Spring 2014 Collection is an unfolding story. Our girl starts out conservative, proper and virtuous in white lace, then with the splash of some paint begins to unfold into a total vixen. See through lace tops begin to be more revealing and are adorned with elements of embroidery, creative patches of sequin designs and feathers. More silhouette focused styles blossom that combine sheer fabrics with silk, satin and leather. Figure hugging pencil shapes are abundant as well as wispy, handkerchief layers of barely there sheer fabrics. These are patterned with paint splashes, checks, dots and solids. Eventually she steals all of the eyes in the room. Dark evening styles are encrusted in paillettes like a starry night and in some cases are so sheer, they almost look like a negligee.
