Balmain Spring 2014 Paris Fashion Week

This is an incredibly creative Ready to Wear collection from Balmain. The details are amazing. Olivier Rousteing is doing a fantastic job and this day wear collection is a top notch. It’s young and fresh and incorporates superior tailoring crafts with every day styles. Styles are relaxed and sporty but with finishing touches that rival many couture collections. The textures are so creative; silver spun weaves, quilted fabrics, unique knits, embroidery and see through laces.
Styles have a hint of the 80’s but the 80’s were fun! Jumpsuits and overalls, butt hugging mini skirts and cropped jackets, all reinvented through Olivier’s creative eyes with fabulous patterns, textures and fabrics. Gold chains run through the collection in totally inventive ways. Love it all.
