Felder Felder Autumn Winter 2013-14 Ready to Wear
UK based fashion designers and twin sisters Annette and Daniela Felder, have expanded on their aesthetics and talent for combining unique textures and patterns to create another attention grabbing collection for their Autumn Winter 2013-14 show during Paris Fashion Week.
For this season, they partnered with Vin and Omi – a creative collective that developed a new latex hybrid fabric (among many other things and certainly enough to have a post dedicated to their work alone!)
This collection features designs that utilize Vin and Omi latex and the sisters incorporated it with other rich and provocative textures -reinventing the perception of latex & demonstrating how it can contribute to chic styles and designs. When I saw the rusty-red liquid latex pants and coat with a richly textured sweater, I did a double take. It looks like lipstick, but isn’t cheap! It’s major!
I also LOVE the embossed velvet. It is seen in the autumn colored mini dress and also a top that’s paired with flesh toned latex pants. I want to touch the fuzzy skirt. I’m crazy for the dress length coat & round brim hat! Check out the long, gold lined velvet gown that is paired with golden latex pants. SO hot!
The collection is called the “Velvet Outlaw Collection” and from the Felder Felder website, was inspired by the work and spirit of 70’s skateboarder Tony Alva and creative work by photographer Sarah Moon.
