Donna Karan Spring 2014 New York Fashion Week

This is one of my favorite Donna Karan Collections. (She’s always been an all time favorite of mine!) I love the way she does relaxed, casual and every-day chic styles. This collection is imbued with a safari type flavor and a bohemian air that’s very sexy and laid back. I’m crazy about the earthy colors; the burnished browns, caramel, honey, and the denim type Mediterranean blues. It’s a palette with a warm and spicy neutrality that suits every skin tone.

I also love how she adorned designs in hip-riding belts, sarong style skirts, floppy brimmed hats, and boho styled travel bags.
This collection speaks to my inner haute hippie. 

The low cut V shaped necklines are right up my alley and does a wrap style ever get old? In my opinion it’s a shape that flatters nearly every figure. What I love the most about this collection, is even though this is for Spring Summer, the palette is warmer like Fall. That’s a refreshing change, it’s very natural and even beachy. Personally, I’m a big fan of earthy colors and living in Florida, this collection could function year round. I’ll take one of everything Donna… thanks!
