This is classic Dior couture and in my opinion, vintage art. While serving as creative director for Dior, Galliano never once failed to demonstrate his undeniable creative vision. Galliano has an undeniable flair for color, creativity and executes exceptional couture dressmaking skills. Dior is indisputably a renowned label, but Galliano’s artistic originality is like no other. He is an extraordinarily talented artist and indisputable showman with remarkable creative vision. Captain Pinkerton’s tragic affair with Cio-Cio San (Madame Butterfly) was the jumping-point for this 2007 Spring Summer Dior collection – one of the most memorable shows ever staged under John’s 15 year position as Creative Director with the House of Dior.
