Antonio Grimaldi Flowers Philosophy

Antonio Grimaldi describes this collection as being inspired by the magic of flowers which is made immediately evident by the amazing runway carpet – 72 feet of over 14,000 colorful flower petals! They’re fashioned into a fascinating mosaic by masters of a skill called Infiorata Flower from the Festival of Genzano – Italy’s Flower Carpet Festival. The result is majestic.

Antonio has fashioned these Haute Couture creations in a philosophy of flowers. He has used fine fabrics that are embroidered in crystals, with all-over prints or hand-painted designs that evoke the fascinating photographic works by Irving Penn. Designs are romantic and sensual; they feature delicate transparencies, petal-like shapes and overlap in bud-like layers. They move down the runway like flowers in a soft breeze. Styles are feminine, elegant and refined.
