Jenny Packham Fall Winter 2013

I’m of the belief that when one tries to be good at too many things, they excel at very few.
In my opinion, Jenny Packham is a superior example of sticking to what you do best and you may eventually become the best. Her collections are nothing less than elegant every season and they are consistently the cream that rises to the top of formal dresses and gowns. This collection is a blend of richly embellished fabrics that are full of delicate and abundant sequins and beading. I love how she uses beading as texture as well as pattern and incorporates it into a total design.

Sheer and flowing layers literally glide down the runway. Form fitting & figure flattering silhouettes capture the eyes and retain them. Ultra glamorous silk makes a compelling appearance. In one case she has paired a billowing silk skirt with a textured, cropped & beaded sweater & I just LOVE the look. In yet another she revives Boudoir Style Hollywood Glam with a dreamily romantic & ultra feminine silk gown. Impressive as always, Jenny Packham has designed yet another ultra rich & beautiful formal collection.
