Jean Paul Gaultier Fall Winter 2013-14 Collection

This Jean Paul Gaultier collection is much less theatrical and very Ready to Wear. He did amazingly creative things with geometric shapes and patterns. The lengths and layers are thoughtful and intriguing. The collection is very punk and contemporary. I especially like the off the shoulder sweater and the patchwork skirts, pants and gown. Personally, I really enjoy the three quarter length, charcoal gray sweater over leggings and high boots, accessorized with high gloves, cinched with a big belt and layers of cowl neck. I always enjoy Jean Paul’s work and this collection is no exception except for the fur. If it isn’t is faux, it has to go. 🙁
