Elie Saab Fall 2014 Ready to Wear Collection, is rich with deep jewel tones. Elie dubbed this collection, “Dark Opulence” and that is an apt description. Dark turquoise, teal, burgundy and black dominate. A soft hue in a dusty rose is the lightest color in the collection (and very flattering). Elie Saab deviated from his more signature monochrome styling, with several dresses and gowns that feature gradations from black to a color. Sequins are used abundantly throughout, as are layers of sheer fabrics and high slits that put focus on a sexy bit of leg.
