Marchesa Spring 2014 #NYFW

There is a reason why Marchesa dominates the runways and this Ready to Wear collection is no exception. This collection hit the runway during New York Fashion week and it is filled with signature Marchesa styling, some of which I think are the best designs of this years Fashion Week. There are super feminine dresses and gowns in sheer and creative lace designs and adorned with ruffles, ribbons, fringe, beading, embroidery and floral appliques. The designs are ethereal and the models look as though they have stepped out of a fairy tale.

For a Ready to Wear collection there are some very intricate elements of exceptional craftsmanship. The silver skirt with exceptionally long satin stitches that form carefully placed interlocking loops, as well as the shape hugging beaded gown with strands and strands of crescent shaped beads are both amazing.
